Officers responding to the disturbance report near the intersection of Lower Way and Clover Hollow Road in Palmer Township were told by the witness that a Black man driving a black Dodge with New Jersey plates shoved someone into the car and drove away just after 12:50 p.m. Tuesday, local police said in a release.

The witness was unable to give a description of the alleged victim, and officers couldn’t find the suspect vehicle or any physical evidence during a follow-up search of the area.

Meanwhile, a surveillance video shows the suspect and vehicle but not the incident itself, police said. The suspect, pictured above, was described as a Black man wearing black pants and a black long sleeve shirt with a Baltimore Ravens emblem.

The car is believed to be a newer model 4-door black Dodge sedan with New Jersey registration.

No other calls were received about the alleged incident, and no one was reported missing from the area, police said.

The investigation was ongoing. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Palmer Township Police Department through Northampton County Dispatch at 610-759-2200 or send an email to Officer Kuronya at ckuronya@palmerpd.org or Sergeant Michael Vangelo at mvangelo@palmerpd.org.
